If there was ever one body part that I could save from aging, it would be my eyes – and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Not only are they probably one of the first, if not the only, thing that people look at when they meet you, talk to you and so on, but they also tell a lot about a person.

Because of that, at least for me, eyes and the impression they share are everything.

So, as I’m sure you can imagine, I absolutely hate that they’re aging. Friends tell me not to worry and that I’m over thinking it. They say that my eyes tell a thousand stories and are the sign of a happy and well-lived life and while I do agree, they’re really starting to show more than they should.

I’m not old and I’ve always loathed the word old anyway. However, my eyes are starting to make me feel like I am. And that is a fact that I do not like.

Perhaps it’s my genetics. My aging eyes have me analyzing everything. Do I have extra sensitive skin around my eyes? Am I destined to have baggy eyes for the rest of my life? Well, I’m not all that sure to be honest, but there’s got to be a reason why they’re showing a whole lot of life all of a sudden.

I would like to think that I’m quite good when it comes to looking after myself. I stay on top of my skincare routine, try to use as many organic products as possible and never really got on board with the whole piling my skin full of chemicals thing. I drink lots of water, I’m active and try to stay out of the sun – all signs of a healthy lifestyle, or so I’m lead to believe.

So why are my eyes letting me down?

I know I’m not the only woman that isn’t keen on showing her age and life story through her eyes. Although I’m probably not showing mine years all that badly in the grand scheme of things, I’m still in the mindset to do whatever it takes to try and slow it all down.

Surgery isn’t something I feel that I’m ready for just yet. I haven’t made my mind up as to whether I’m pro or con when it comes to cosmetic procedures (including non-invasion ones too!) but I’m not ruling them out either. Life is long and who knows how badly I could age?

So, with that in mind, it’s about time I give something topical a real shot at sorting it all out. Enter Revitol.

Revitol eye cream is a favorite up-and-comer in the anti-aging skin care world. It is designed to target dark circles, fine lines, and puffiness under your eyes. Continue reading for our full review of the product, the company, and its effectiveness.

Tell Us About Revitol

Revitol Eye Cream

This supposed wonder cream is designed to counteract and combat anti-aging symptoms around the eyes. It’s meant to work against puffy under eyes and those awful dark circles that we all get at some time in life or the other (some of us more than others!).

The manufacturing company is quick to point out that not everyone gets puffiness and darkness due to the lack of sleep. I for one fall into this category. I learned at a young age that sleep is oh so important in life. I spent some time only sleeping 4-5 hours a night and boy didn’t it show. Not only were my eyes such a huge giveaway of my terrible sleep habits, but I was also drained, my diet suffered. Because of all of these things, my skin looked horrible. There was no beauty product or makeup strong enough.

Since then, I’ve been sleeping for a solid 7.5 hours every single night. For me, this just seems the optimum amount of shuteye that my body needs. I feel like it’s important to point out that everyone’s sleep needs are different. Don’t assume that this will be the magic number for you as well! I know I sleep well, so I’m often wondering where these dark circles come from and the occasional puffiness.

Revitol suggests it can be many factors, including stress hormones, anxiety, allergies and so on. I guess for me, stress and hormones could be a huge contributor. This realization and how strongly it rang true caused me to instantly think they know what they’re talking about.

Aside from those two awful, undesirable eye conditions, Revitol also aims to combat visible signs of aging – lines and wrinkles.

And How Does It Do That?

As is the secret to most anti-aging skin care products, Revitol Eye Cream provides results with a little help of hydration of course. Hydration is so important when it comes to preventing visible signs of aging. When the skin is hydrated, it can function properly. Healthy, thriving skin includes high levels of collagen production (and we all know how vital collagen is for anti-aging). So, aside from keeping hydrated internally day in and day out, a really good level of moisture is needed for your skin too!

Revitol is natural and kind to the skin. It aims to put moisture back into the skin to get this anti-aging process kickstarted. By moisturising the skin, lines start to fade. It also means that discolouration can be worked on (goodbye dark circles) and, if all is well and hydrated, the fluid retention that leads to puffy under eyes will soon stop too.

The whole system creates the opportunity for your healthy skin to work its natural magic and function as it should. All of this leads to a young, smooth, and gorgeous appearance.

Ingredient wise, Revitol is full of effective, natural ingredients. Their packaging tells me that a whole lot of Vitamin B is used (Niacinamide) for moisture, anti-inflammation and anti-oxidant properties. Then two little things called Chrysin and Bisabolol get to work on the pigmentation and reducing the appearance of puffiness. This eye lotion even contains something called fraxinus that works on strengthening the under eye skin to banish all of the above!

Looking at the product from an outside perspective, I’m sold so far. However, things can look good on paper, but not your face. So, it’s time to determine – does it really work?

The Results From My Review?

After using Revitol eye cream, I’m definitely pleased. For me, this product is one of the best I’ve ever tried. The cream has a really silky feel and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy. As I write this review, I have been personally applying Retinol eye cream for around four weeks now. There aren’t enough words for how thrilled I am with what it’s doing.

After only a month, my fine lines are started to look and feel a lot more plumped up (excuse my ‘professional’ terminology there, but it felt apt). The dark circles that I’ve come to expect every morning when I check the mirror have faded quite well. I have few doubts that these results will continue as I keep this cream as part of my skin care routine based on what I’ve seen so far. I’ve also had a lot less puffy morning experiences since using it.

Oh, it does feel good to finally find something that feels good! Not only that goes on well, but also that works well – especially with an affordable price tag. It’s got to be a 5 out of 5 from me for the Revitol Eye Cream.
